The property is thoughtfully designed for guests who want to enjoy the lake at a relaxed pace without the crowds and noise of large commercial resorts. Guests enjoy easy access to the water and docks, along with shared amenities such as a heated swimming pool, arcade, and picnic areas. An on-site camp store offers convenient rentals, including boats, kayaks, and lawn games, so you can fully enjoy the lake without leaving the property.

Back Bay Campground is located on a quiet lakeside road and is accessible by car only. Public transportation and ride share services are not available in the area; therefore, guests must plan to arrive with their own vehicle. Once on the property, guests can easily explore the campground on foot, including access to amenities and walking paths. Cell service may be limited in certain areas due to the rural setting. During the winter months, road and weather conditions can vary, and the use of a four-wheel-drive (4WD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) vehicle is strongly recommended to ensure safe and reliable access.
